Game of Ur

This is an interpretation of the rules of the ancient Game of Ur, possibly a predecessor of the Backgammon. It's a two-player race board game, here the players take turns tossing 4 coins to move their pieces through the board. The first player to ascend (take off the board after completing the course) 7 pieces win.

I strongly recommend you to read the Wikipedia page "Royal Game of Ur" to better understand the rules and the historical reconstruction of them.

Anonymous: I like this game! The wikipedia article mentions Backgammon as a successor and I definitely see a similarity. The game is fun and this JS13k version is well made. The monochrome/greyscale look works, but I wonder if it wouldn't have benefit from some color? A link to the rules or some bullet points with the basics would be helpful.

Jupiter Hadley: This is a very neat game! I like the graphics a lot. Simple but good.
